How To Use
Start by selecting a plating metal from the dropdown below. You'll then be able to choose a plating solution type. The relevant plating information will populate in the cards below. The current density slider will automatically be set at the plating solution current density range from low current density (LCD) to high current density (HCD). The default slider position will be set at optimum mid-range. The user can then change the surface area (dm²) and desired coating thickness (microns) to see the time in minutes and current to apply. The current density slider can be moved to see the effect on time and current. Be aware this is a guide and other factors may affect plating thickness distribution like part geometry and solution throwing power.
